Getting Started
Becoming a To-The-Trade partner offers exclusive access to our expansive, award winning, and patented products such as the Comfort Sleeper and Comfort Air collections.
TRADE SHOWROOMS:
We have trade showroom partners in Seattle, Portland, Bozeman, Calgary and Vancouver, BC. Here you'll find our full breadth of leather and fabric swatches, assorted reclining and sleep mechanisms, and stationary must-haves. Our trade partners are experts on American Leather and a fabulous resource for clients to sit-test our products.
Working with a trade showroom will grant you the same discount you'd receive working directly with the factory, and their teams manage logistics, receiving, and service related warranty procedures.

Expectations
All independent accounts are required to have the capability to receive and inspect the product at a commercial receiver. They must also be able to assist with facilitating service related claims.
We ask that if a designer or client visits one of our Retail partners to view product or covers, that the transaction be made through that established partner.
Brand Heritage & Warranty
Founded in 1990 by engineers, American Leather was built on the belief that quality customized furniture should not take three months. Over the last 35 years, American Leather has manufactured made-to-order custom furniture in about 30 days. We own over thirty patents on products and have the largest number of engineers employed by any furniture manufacturer in the industry. As leaders in design, innovation, and technology, our culture is the heartbeat of the company. Each hand-crafted piece of furniture is made by 22 sets of hands in our 350,000 sq ft state-of-the-art factory in Dallas, TX. What started in a borrowed facility has grown to over 700 employees in a LEED certified, vertically integrated factory.
American Leather offers a lifetime warranty on the frame and suspension of all pieces, a ten year warranty on mechansims, foam, and mattresses, five year bumper-to-bumper warranty on manufacturing defects in covers & stitching, three years on motors, and a one year warranty on batteries.

We offer complimentary memo swatches, up to ten per project, on all of our fabric and leather offerings. Complete swatch collections can be purchased for $2000 in hanging or grommet format. Wood and metal finish samples are available with an intial purchase order.
LEAD TIMES
American Leather production for Comfort Sleeper product is two weeks. All other product has a three week manufacturing lead time. Freight transit times vary.

Design & Trade pricing is 50% off the published MSRP. Freight is a flat 10% of the order total to a commercial receiver. American Leather publishes a cost, retail, and MRP* price list.
*Certain collections only, trade partners are not required to adhere to MRP policy
